‘Multiple’ gunshots fired in east Hamilton neighbourhood

Hamilton police are investigating after an apparent fight led to a shooting in an east-end neighbourhood Monday afternoon.

In a release posted to X, police confirmed multiple shots were fired in the area of Grimsby and Britannia avenues, east of Parkdale Avenue, around 4:45 p.m.
